Church Leadership

Senior Pastor

Rev. Brady Radford

I am Reverend Brady Radford, but my friends call me “Brother Brady.” As Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the owner of The Lovewell Collective, counseling practice, I help individuals and organizations build healthy relationships and strategize for positive outcomes.

I especially love working with couples of all kinds, organizations in conflict and public speaking. In my work, I use personal stories, leadership and relationship examples to transform complex theology and psychology concepts into common sense wisdom. The delight of my life centers on the love I share with my partner and wife, Celestine and our three adventurous children, Aniyah, Brayden and Kalia.

  • Ensure appropriate insurance is maintained on property

Presbyterian Women

Louise Billingsly & Nancy Brown

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom. These commitments are lovingly carried out in Presbyterian Women groups in congregations, presbyteries and synods.

Deacons

Laverge Austin

The office of Deacon, as set forth in Scripture, is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Persons of spiritual character, honest repute, of exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, warm sympathies, and sound judgement should be chosen for this office.

Is the responsibility of the deacons to minister to those who are in need to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress.

Committee responsibilities:

  • Planning mission activities and stimulating interest and involvement of Emory Presbyterian Church members in national and international mission endeavors

  • Recommending Mission budget goals and disbursing funds in support of mission activities

  • Promoting special offerings of the PC (USA) and informing the congregation of mission activities through the newsletter, bulletin board, and Minutes for Mission.

Trustees/Property Committee

Richard Calhoun

Trustees are the agents of the corporation who handle its business and carry out its orders. They are elected officers of the church. Trustees function under the review and control of the Session. The trustees, according to the Book of Order, have the following powers:

Committee responsibilities:

  • Manage building contracts.

  • Provide the physical environment enabling our church to pursue its mission and goals

  • the opening and closing of the church for all events

  • the security of the church during those times of authorized meetings

  • the purchase and maintenance of all church equipment

  • receiving, holding, encumbering, managing, and transferring property, real or person, for the church

  • accepting and executing deeds of title to such property holding and defending title to such property

  • managing any permanent special funds for the furtherance of the purposes of the church

The Property Committee manages issues related to the maintenance and improvement of church-owned property. While expertise in matters related to building and property maintenance, budgeting, and insurance is helpful, it is not a prerequisite for serving as a Trustee or joining the Property Committee. Interest in and devotion to the preservation and maintenance of our historic campus is the only requirement for serving.
